What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Craft articles and analyses on a diverse range of subjects, including current politics, detailed policy analysis, and the nuances of media bias.
• Skill Enhancement: Actively participate in a structured writing training program specifically designed to refine and improve overall writing skills.
• Bias Education: Engage in weekly educational surveys focused on media bias to deepen understanding and awareness of how media perspectives are shaped.
• Academic Application: Apply theoretical knowledge and frameworks acquired from a major or minor in fields such as writing, English, marketing, or political science to practical tasks.
• Internship Management: Effectively manage a flexible schedule, committing to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week to complete the 150-hour internship requirements within 10-15 weeks or sooner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must hold a major or minor in English, writing, political science, or a similar degree, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Prior writing experience, gained either academically or through other avenues, is preferred for this role.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and on the phone, are required. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, meticulously detailed-oriented, reliable in keeping all commitments, and a collaborative team player.
