The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Z&E Enterprises, located in Bowie, MD. Z&E Enterprises is a rapidly expanding force in commercial concrete, masonry, and high-performance coatings, specializing in services like concrete cutting, coring, GPR scanning, and firestop. This crucial dual role involves taking full ownership of the central logistics hub and maintaining the mechanical fleet, ensuring seamless field operations and supporting the company’s regional growth. You will play an essential part in keeping field operations moving and minimizing downtime.

• Mission: Coordinate field operations and maintain a mechanical fleet to ensure seamless logistics and minimal downtime for commercial concrete and masonry projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse Organization: Organize the central warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency and accelerate field crew dispatch times.
• Fleet Maintenance: Maintain company fleet vehicles, specialized mixers, and mechanical tools to ensure minimal field downtime.
• Inventory Management: Track incoming material shipments and verify counts against purchase orders to prevent inventory stockouts.
• Equipment Allocation: Coordinate daily tool and equipment allocations for multiple active commercial job sites simultaneously.
• Mechanical Repairs: Diagnose routine mechanical issues on equipment to perform timely in-house repairs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial level with core knowledge in warehouse coordination, shop operations, or equipment maintenance.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse coordination, shop foreman, or equipment maintenance role, with demonstrated success troubleshooting and repairing machinery or tools.
• Skills: Strong practical mechanical aptitude, proven organizational talents, and the ability to streamline logistical workflows.
• Bonus: Prior experience working within the commercial construction sectors or operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or skid steers.
