Warehouse Manager | PharMerica
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, located in Centennial, Colorado. The company specializes in providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital, operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. As Warehouse Manager, you will provide critical leadership and support to the warehouse team, ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging, preparation, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality patient care and operational excellence within the home infusion market.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: On-Site Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
• Location: In-person, Centennial, Colorado
• Pay: $68000–$86000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the General Manager, working within the Delivery team, and supervises 5-10 warehouse employees.
• Mission: To ensure the efficient and accurate packaging, preparation, distribution, and management of medical equipment and supplies for Amerita’s patients.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Lead, assign, and schedule the daily work of warehouse staff, providing on-the-job training, development, and guidance to ensure efficient operations and accurate order fulfillment.
• Order Fulfillment: Oversee and assist with the packing, preparation, and distribution of equipment and supplies for patients, including handling complex orders and ensuring all necessary documentation like delivery tickets and packing slips are completed accurately.
• Warehouse Operations: Manage the loading, unloading, stocking, and inventory of supplies, ensuring the maintenance, proper cleaning, and storage of all medical equipment, including infusion pumps and devices.
• Staff Management: Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain warehouse personnel, manage time-off requests, approve timecards, and participate in performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Inventory Reporting: Report inventory levels to the Branch Manager and maintain a thorough understanding of company product codes and terminology to support effective supply chain management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, possessing core domain knowledge in warehouse or distribution inventory management, preferably within a home infusion setting.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in warehouse or distribution inventory management, including the ability to supervise five to ten warehouse employees.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills; strong attention to detail; basic computer proficiency; and a thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or some college, experience in warehousing, distribution inventory management, purchasing, pharmaceuticals, and supplies, and Certified Pharmacy Technician licenses if required by the individual State Board of Pharmacy.
