The Tone:
This is an early career program at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, located in Katy, TX. Southern Glazer’s is North America’s largest total beverage distributor, a family-owned business with a long history and a focus on investing in its people and technology. This program is designed to develop the next generation of operational leaders, providing hands-on experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution to prepare individuals for management roles within the company’s national network.

• Mission: To develop future operational leaders through a structured rotational program focused on logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate through core operational functions including Outbound, Inbound, Logistics, and Inventory Control.
• Lead and manage projects focused on operational improvement, delivering measurable results.
• Support supervisors in daily warehouse operations and motivate frontline teams.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, safety, and employee engagement.
• Present project findings, insights, and recommendations directly to company executives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, Entry-Level. Graduates of December 2026 or May 2027, or up to two years post-graduation, are eligible. Preferred degrees include Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: Prior internship or work experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing. Demonstrated leadership experience from sports, student organizations, community involvement, military service, or previous employment. Must be at least 21 years old.
• Skills: Strong leadership capabilities to connect with and motivate diverse teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Comfort with data, analytics, and technology is expected. Adaptability and resilience in a warehouse environment.
• Bonus: Willingness to relocate after program completion or travel as business needs require. Ability to work overnight shifts during the 3-month outbound rotation.
