Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) | Shaw Industries
The Tone:
This is a full-time development program at Shaw Industries, located primarily in Dalton, GA, with one rotation at a Shaw RDC. Shaw Industries is an industry-leading flooring company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., dedicated to providing quality flooring solutions worldwide. This program is designed for high-potential recent college graduates to launch a successful career, make a lasting impact, and become future leaders within the company’s Supply Chain organization.
The TL;DR
• Role: Development Program
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, Dalton, GA
• Pay: $60000–$80000 yearly
• Mission: To train and develop recent college graduates into future Supply Chain leaders through a structured two-year rotational program.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Engage in a 2-year development program offering 4, six-month rotations across key supply chain groups of your choice.
• Onboarding and Training: Complete an initial 9 to 12-week onboarding with other trainees, focusing on business acumen and leadership development.
• Practical Experience: Gain intentional, on-job training through a series of rotational assignments in areas such as Logistics, Sourcing, Planning, Samples, Integrated Customer Care, and Business Solutions.
• Initiative Execution: Strategically execute new and exciting initiatives throughout Shaw Industries’ integrated supply chain organization.
• Skill Development: Hone communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills while navigating the daily complexities of supply chain management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Recent college graduate with the ability to relocate (housing assistance is provided).
• Skills: Ability to deliver compelling communication, demonstrate good judgment, initiate action, and continuously learn within a professional setting.
• Bonus: Prior internship or general work experience is much preferred.
