Summer Internship – Human Resources Management

This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR/Medical functions within a leading transportation company. You will work alongside experienced HR professionals and contribute to strategic HR initiatives, gaining valuable insights into the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in projects that impact business decisions and the organization’s future.
• Partner with HR teams to share insights, propose recommendations, and present proposals to team leaders and senior HR leaders.
• Participate in various HR department activities such as hiring, performance management, and talent development.
• Develop leadership, teamwork, communication, adaptability, and resilience skills in a dynamic work environment.

Program Details:

Duration: June 9, 2025 – August 1, 2025
Number of Positions: 2
monthly Stipend: $4,206
Location: Fort Worth, TX (other potential locations: Fort Worth, TX)
Work Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (40 hours/week split between office and remote work) with potential weekend/evening work and some field activities.
Travel: Minimal, reliable transportation required.
Relocation: Required if located more than 50 miles from the location.
Training: Two-day orientation in Fort Worth, TX, followed by ongoing project support and practical training.

Currently pursuings:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years old upon hire.
• No sponsorship required for work authorization.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a similar field from an accredited university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
• Less than 3 years of professional work experience (excluding internships, part-time jobs, or positions held while pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees).
• Reliable transportation for the duration of the internship.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• Prior internship experience or less than 3 years of work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• Leadership experience in campus, community, or extracurricular organizations.
• Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
