Job Summary

Please note, this position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer, Battle Axe Entertainment, and is not directly affiliated with the University of Kentucky. Battle Axe Entertainment is an entertainment center seeking energetic and dependable team members.

Positions Available at Battle Axe Entertainment:

• Attraction Attendants: Main focus of this job description.
• Concessions Team Members: May be part of the Attraction Attendant’s duties or a separate role.
• Shift Managers: Separate role with additional responsibilities.

Pay

• Hourly Rate: $12 to $15 per hour
• Additional: Tips (specifically stated as $12/hour + tips for Attraction Attendants initially, then broadened to $12 to $15 + tips for all positions)

Schedule

• Very Flexible: The employer works around your class schedule.
• Daytime availability strongly preferred: Particularly between 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• Weekend Availability Required: Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities (May Include)

As an Attraction Attendant or Concessions Team Member, your duties will contribute to a safe and enjoyable guest experience:

• Guest Assistance & Safety: Assisting guests with various attractions and rigorously ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.
• Concessions Operations: Running concessions, including taking orders, preparing items, and accurately handling transactions.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized facility to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
• Guest Experience: Providing an exceptional level of customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for all visitors.
• Managers: (For Shift Manager role) Overseeing shift operations and providing support to the team.
