Job Summary: Student Assistant – Video Content Creator
The Department of Biology is seeking a bright, energetic Student Assistant to join a team creating a new lab manual for the BIOL2251K course. The Video Content Creator will be responsible for producing (filming, editing, etc.) videos of BIOL2251K laboratory exercises, collaborating closely with BIOL2251K faculty and other students.
Responsibilities
- Produce videos for BIOL2251K based on scripts developed by students and faculty.
- Perform light administrative work, including copying and data collection/organization.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
- Must be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment.
- Professional demeanor with excellent ability to work in group settings.
- Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, manage time effectively, and multi-task.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in video production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Office and the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Desire to Learn.
