User Group Data Admin and Photo Support Intern | Golden Hippo®

The Tone:
This is an internship at Golden Hippo, located in Woodland Hills, CA. Golden Hippo is an employee-owned, vertically-integrated builder of popular health & wellness brands, comprising over 1,000 team members and generating over $600 million in annual revenue. This role is crucial for supporting the busy User Group department by managing digital assets and providing photo shoot support, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility of important visual content.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time, 25-29 hours/week
• Location: Onsite, Woodland Hills, CA
• Pay: $18–$20 hourly
• Team: User Group department, supporting User Group Photographer and User Group Team
• Mission: Support the User Group department’s photo shoots and manage digital assets for health, beauty, and wellness products.
• Tech Stack: Capture One, Google Sheets, Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop), Google Drive

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administer: Manage the User Group Before & After photo tracking grid and naming conventions.
• Operate: Run Capture One at User Group photo shoots to prepare “Before” photos for the photographer, name assets, and track each digital photo in real time.
• Organize: Organize and maintain current and past digital media assets within individual User Group folders in Google Drive.
• Develop: Contribute to the creation of a user-friendly digital portal for photo and video assets, claims, surveys, and User data for easy company access.
• Create: Develop “Best of” Before & After side-by-side compilations using existing templates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Requires a High School Diploma, with a focus on photography support and digital asset management.
• Experience: Prior experience assisting photographers, managing photo media, and implementing digital asset systems. 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with Capture One, Google Sheets, and Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom and Photoshop). Familiarity with strobe lighting and Canon/DSLR cameras and lenses. Possesses excellent data management, organizational, communication (written and verbal), and people skills, along with strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Some college and/or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. A solid understanding of photography is also beneficial.
