Graphic Design Intern | Kaili Woop
The Tone:
This is a remote internship at Kaili Woop, available to candidates based in the U.S. Kaili Woop is a multidisciplinary art and design brand rooted in traditional printmaking techniques, offering original fine art, wearable pieces, and creative services. Based in Astoria, Queens, the company transforms everyday items into playful, one-of-a-kind works of art that celebrate individuality, creativity, and accessibility. This role is important for a creative, detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in branding, graphic design, visual storytelling, and creative direction, contributing to the visual evolution of the Kaili Woop brand.

• Mission: This person will help shape the Kaili Woop brand’s visual identity by designing graphics for digital and print platforms and contributing to creative development.
• Tech Stack: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Digital Graphic Design: Design engaging visual content for Kaili Woop’s digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and website updates, supporting promotional campaigns.
• Marketing Material Production: Create a range of print and digital marketing collateral, such as flyers, postcards, catalogs, lookbooks, pitch decks, and advertisements.
• Product Visuals & Mockups: Assist in the design of product packaging, hang tags, stickers, labels, and branded merchandise, alongside developing mockups for new products and creative concepts.
• Brand & Creative Development: Contribute to the evolution of the brand’s visual identity by brainstorming creative concepts for launches, events, and seasonal collections, and researching design trends and inspiration.
• Design Operations & Collaboration: Prepare design files for both print and digital production, organize creative assets, and actively participate in weekly team meetings and one-on-one check-ins with the Founder/Creative Director.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship for candidates currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Candidates should possess a basic understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, composition, color theory, and layout. Practical familiarity with key applications within the Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for design tasks. The ability to effectively manage multiple projects, consistently meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a remote work environment is required.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include experience with Figma, motion graphics or basic animation, photography or photo editing, Canva, Blender or 3D design, knowledge of print production and file preparation, or illustration and hand-drawn artwork.
