Senior Program Manager | Mimecast

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Management: Own end-to-end program management for feature and product launches, building the plan, sequencing workstreams, and maintaining a clear view of status.
• Engineering Deliverables: Plan and track the Engineering deliverables crucial for each launch, ensuring go-to-market commitments are based on current progress.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Enablement, RevOps, Support, IT, and Legal, preventing anything from falling through the cracks.
• Technical Engagement: Engage credibly with engineering teams on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs, proactively flagging technical risk that could threaten launch dates.
• Process Refinement: Build and continuously refine a repeatable go-to-market launch playbook, utilizing AI tools to reduce manual overhead in status synthesis and risk surfacing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, demonstrating experience at a senior program management level.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Product Launch Management, with a track record of owning go-to-market execution end-to-end, beyond just facilitation.
• Skills: Technical fluency to engage credibly in trade-off, estimation, and risk conversations with engineering teams; strong cross-functional influence to drive alignment and accountability without relying on organizational authority; exceptional communication skills to translate complex dynamics into clear insight for technical teams and senior leadership; high ownership and a bias to action, bringing solutions and measuring success by what ships.
• Bonus: MBA preferred, PMP certification preferred, and a genuine curiosity about how AI tools can enhance go-to-market execution, coupled with a drive to experiment with them.
