What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by performing security-related procedures and emergency response activities at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Access Control: Control access at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor badges, and directing individuals per site procedures.
• System Monitoring: Monitor entry points and front desk systems such as phones, radios, cameras, and access control to deter unauthorized access and promptly report concerns.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, coordinating notifications, documenting actions, and supporting arriving responders according to site guidelines.
• Documentation & Reporting: Complete detailed reports and logs, maintain accurate visitor records, and communicate clearly with staff and leadership regarding security matters and policy updates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is strictly required.
• Skills: Ability to use computer and/or tablet systems for documentation and reporting; calm, service-first communication; and problem-solving skills to manage critical situations.
• Bonus: A state, county, or city issued security license; customer service experience; comfort using a computer or tablet; CPR certification.
