Sales Trainee | Red Bull Distribution Company
The Tone:
This is a comprehensive training role designed to prepare individuals for future Account Sales Manager positions at Red Bull Distribution Company, an organization dedicated to the effective distribution and brand building of Red Bull products. This position is vital for providing continuous sales support and ensuring route coverage for existing Account Sales Managers during planned or unplanned absences. The Sales Trainee will be instrumental in nurturing customer relationships across all large and small format off-premise stores, upholding Red Bull’s high standards for service, product execution, and merchandising. The program is structured with clear milestones towards eligibility for ASM roles.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Actively engage in a structured training program designed to develop the skills and knowledge required for the Account Sales Manager role, working towards certification within a typical 12-month period, potentially extendable based on performance and role availability.
• Route Support & Sales Initiatives: Provide critical route coverage for Account Sales Managers during their vacations, sickness, injury, or special projects, and support broader sales initiatives including participation in audits, blitzes, and the physical construction of displays.
• Customer Relations & Growth: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers across all large and small format off-premise stores to enhance sales and foster collaborative connections between sales, merchandising, and operations.
• Brand Integrity & Performance: Execute Red Bull’s in-store standards to protect brand integrity, ensure product freshness through proper rotation, establish correct brand flow, and consistently achieve daily KPIs across sales, distribution, pricing, display, and new accounts.
• Operational Readiness: Conduct thorough daily preparations by acquiring all necessary tools, such as insights, displays, and Point of Sale materials, and ensure clear communication with ASMs/DSMs regarding daily priorities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level training role requiring individuals to be at least 21 years of age, focused on preparing for sales management within consumer goods distribution.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required as this is a structured training program.
• Skills: Valid US Driver’s License, eligibility to obtain a DOT Medical card, ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory or advertising displays, and English language proficiency.
• Bonus: Prior experience in customer service and sales, and proficiency in additional languages.
