What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Solutions: Develop and implement comprehensive consumer and commercial customer solutions for both local and national accounts, engaging with a wide range of clients including Fortune 500 companies.
• Fleet Operations Management: Oversee the management of a large inventory of nationally recognized vehicles, strategically balancing fleet productivity with overall profitability.
• Customer Satisfaction & Profitability: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while also driving profitability in the context of fleet management and service delivery.
• Business Growth: Actively generate new business leads and proactively foster strong, lasting relationships with existing customers.
• Problem Solving: Swiftly solve problems for customers, ensuring their continued success and reliance on Penske’s services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business or Marketing. This is an entry-level management trainee position designed for individuals ready to run a business.
• Experience: While no specific years of experience are required, an internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Candidates must be results-oriented, possess keen attention to detail, and exhibit good time management skills. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, along with the ability and willingness to drive various Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Work Requirements: The role requires the ability to work holidays and a weekend day as necessary, with regular, predictable, full attendance being an essential function of the job. Willingness to travel within the district for customer yards, close geographical areas, and training sites is also required.
