What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Projects: Create detailed project plans, continuously monitor project progress, and make necessary adjustments to schedules and resources to ensure all projects consistently meet their objectives and scope.
• Facilitate Communication: Act as the primary liaison between project teams and various stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication and mutual understanding of project progress, identified risks, and overarching goals.
• Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify potential project risks early in the lifecycle, develop suitable mitigation and contingency plans, and coordinate strategic shifts in project direction and schedules when necessary to effectively reduce risk exposure.
• Report Progress: Regularly compile comprehensive project reports detailing current status, adherence to deadlines, and any potential issues or roadblocks. Present these reports clearly to both stakeholders and project teams.
• Evaluate Projects: Conduct thorough post-project evaluations to identify both successful and unsuccessful project elements, then formulate concrete recommendations for improving future project execution and outcomes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required, combined with comprehensive core domain knowledge in banking operations and established project management methodologies.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in both banking and project management is essential. This includes demonstrated proficiency in managing the complete project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Skills:
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a strategic and analytical approach to challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, maintaining high standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
• Bonus: Prior knowledge and understanding of banking-specific regulations and industry standards would be a valuable asset.
