• Mission: To support the nursing team by gaining hands-on experience and exploring the full scope of the Registered Nurse role while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care: Provide essential patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), checking vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient comfort and hygiene.
• Clinical Tasks: Perform nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter care, and collecting specimens as your experience and competency grow.
• Documentation & Communication: Accurately document care and communicate timely updates with the nursing team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
• Patient and Family Support: Assist patients and families in understanding their care plans and provide guidance for their health and recovery.
• Environment Management: Maintain clean and safe patient areas by adhering to infection prevention practices, managing equipment, and organizing the environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Skills: Patient care assistance, vital sign monitoring, basic nursing procedures, accurate documentation, effective communication, infection prevention practices.
