The Tone:
This is a full-time training program offered by BluePearl Pet Hospital, a leader in specialty and emergency veterinary care. This program is designed to equip veterinary school graduates and career-changing veterinarians with the essential skills and confidence needed to excel as successful Emergency Veterinarians at one of BluePearl’s state-of-the-art hospitals. The role is crucial for developing expert emergency clinicians who can handle challenging cases and lead by example in the veterinary industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Foundational Training: Complete intensive virtual and in-person bootcamp sessions to build essential emergency medicine skills.
• Specialty Exposure: Gain understanding and enhance collaboration through rotations in various veterinary specialties.
• Practical Application: Apply training in real-world ER shifts under mentorship, progressing to greater independence.
• Case Management: Develop critical thinking and decision-making by managing diverse and complex emergency cases with increasing responsibility.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in weekly webinar series designed to enhance knowledge and stay updated on emergency veterinary practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Doctorate Degree (DVM or VMD); Career level: Entry-Level (for graduates) or Career Change (for current veterinarians).
• Experience: Graduate of an accredited veterinary school or a current veterinarian seeking a career transition.
• Skills: Demonstrated sincere interest in becoming an Emergency Veterinarian, eagerness to handle challenging cases, and a commitment to continuous learning and leadership.
