Kaizen Summer Sales Intern | Kaizen Marketing

The Tone:
This is a paid internship at Kaizen Marketing, located in an in-person setting. Kaizen Marketing focuses on business development and sales, providing strategic sales cycle solutions to clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outside sales, territory management, and customer engagement within a supportive environment. You will directly contribute to company growth through lead generation, service demonstrations, and strategic account management, setting the foundation for a successful career in sales and business development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outside Sales: Engage in outside sales activities by identifying potential clients and building strong relationships through cold calling and direct outreach.
• Territory Management: Assist in managing territory sales by analyzing market trends and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
• Service Demos: Conduct service demos to showcase features and benefits, upselling solutions that meet client needs.
• Lead Generation: Support lead generation efforts using CRM software to track prospects and follow-up activities.
• Business Development: Collaborate with management on business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and improve sales processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or a related program, with a strong interest in sales, marketing, or management.
• Experience: Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and understanding sales cycles. This internship provides valuable exposure to the full spectrum of sales functions.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients. Familiarity with CRM software. Strong analysis skills to interpret conversations and understand client needs.
• Bonus: Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management is a plus.
