Job Description:

This is for a Human Resources Intern position located in Latrobe, PA.

This internship offers an opportunity to explore the “people side of business” and understand how Human Resources drives organizational success. It provides practical, real-world experience in the core functions of HR and is ideal for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to understand how HR strategies impact people, performance, and company culture. The role offers exposure to various ways HR supports the entire employee lifecycle, whether the intern is interested in data, communications, systems, or recruiting.

Key Responsibilities of an HR Intern:

Talent Acquisition Support: Assisting with activities such as creating job postings, screening resumes, and conducting candidate outreach.
Engagement & Branding: Supporting employee engagement efforts and internal branding initiatives.
Data Management & Reporting: Contributing to HR data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing projects.
Internal Communications: Helping to manage internal communications and create content for platforms like SharePoint.
HRIS & Digital Management: Assisting with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) tasks and digital file management.
Compliance & Policy: Participating in compliance tracking, policy research, and preparation for audits.
Tool Experience: Gaining hands-on experience with various HR tools, including ADP Workforce Now, SharePoint, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
Observation & Learning: Shadowing team members and attending team meetings to gain exposure to daily HR operations and strategic initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Adelphoi is seeking individuals who are:

• Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Finance, Research, or a related field.
• Strong communicators, both in written and verbal forms, with a keen attention to detail.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn new things.
• Interested in understanding the influence of HR on recruitment, company culture, employee engagement, and compliance.
• Comfortable working effectively in both collaborative team settings and independently.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain required background clearances (Act 33/34 and FBI) and successfully pass a physical examination.
• Proof of current auto insurance.
