Growth & Outreach Intern | cupl
The Tone:
This is an unpaid, remote internship at cupl, a relationship care app aimed at transforming how people maintain their love lives. The company builds a solution for relationship longevity, addressing the current lack of support beyond finding or ending a relationship. This role is fundamental for sparking initial interest and gathering real-world insights, directly contributing to cupl’s early user acquisition and growth strategy. You will play a direct part in introducing a new product to the world.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach: Talk with individuals, community leaders, and groups to introduce cupl and encourage interest in trying the app.
• Experimentation: Experiment with in-person outreach approaches, including clubs, communities, friends, and events.
• Social Media Engagement: Reach out to new people on social media to encourage them to try the app.
• Feedback Collection: Share insights on what resonates, what doesn’t, and observations from real-world conversations.
• Learning: Learn how early-stage startups approach exposure and growth without rigid scripts or playbooks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; individuals who understand and are excited by cupl’s mission to foster stronger relationships.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required for approaching people, but being comfortable and open to engaging with individuals you know and don’t know is essential.
• Skills: Comfort approaching new people; an entrepreneurial drive to start initiatives or lead projects; strong written communication skills for remote collaboration; a proactive self-starter mentality.
• Bonus: Potential for top performers to join the team in a more permanent fashion once cupl is more mature.
