This trainee role is critical for developing the next generation of sales experts who will drive business growth by selling these specialized products and services to both new and existing automotive dealerships.

The TL;DR

• Location: Initially Dayton, OH for classroom training; 80-100% overnight travel during field-based training; requires relocation to an assigned territory upon program completion.
• Mission: Successfully complete a 12-month sales training program to transition into a Sales Professional role, responsible for achieving sales quotas by selling automotive industry solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Enroll in and complete a comprehensive 12-month sales training program comprising both field-based and classroom instruction.
• Learn: Participate in classroom courses at Reynolds University covering dealership operations, sales techniques, and negotiation skills.
• Shadow: Work closely with an assigned Sales Mentor in their territory, observing the sales process and assisting them on client calls.
• Discover: Travel with customer service and installation teams to gain enhanced knowledge of the company’s products.
• Sell: Relocate to an assigned territory after training and achieve designated monthly and annual quotas by selling Reynolds products and services to new and existing customers in the automotive industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Must possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
• Skills: Demonstrated good time management skills, ability to build strong customer relationships, excellent oral and written communication skills, capability to travel (overnight) 80-100% during training, and willingness to relocate after successful completion of the training program.
