Role Overview

Under the direction of the JMM Brand Director, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating a wide variety of graphic assets for use across all channels, from social media to print advertising. This role involves developing new visual concepts within the existing brand framework, collaborating with key stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure broad alignment, and producing assets for diverse media and contexts. The ideal candidate will translate their aesthetic into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually exciting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Creation & Development:
    • Work on a wide range of projects and media, utilizing various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphics that meet design and business needs.
    • Maintain a high level of excellence in all creative outputs, demonstrating a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration, packaging, photography, retouching, and all other design elements.
  • Collaboration & Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the product design and marketing teams to create innovative designs (online & offline) and compelling stories and campaigns aligned with the brand’s DNA.
    • Develop and pitch new brand concepts for use in global and local campaigns, ensuring consistency with the Brand’s DNA.
  • Marketing Material Creation:
    • Create marketing collateral for a variety of uses across all channels.
    • Ensure brand consistency by updating and enforcing visual style guides for use by product teams, partners, and across all marketing platforms.
  • Internal Databases & Asset Management:
    • Update and maintain internal databases, managing design, photography, and video resources for easy access.
    • Organize creative assets, ensuring all design files are well-organized and creating guidelines to boost cross-collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a graphic designer in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading creative teams in developing brand concepts.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level abilities with Adobe Suite software.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Aesthetic: A keen eye for design and detail.
