What You’ll Actually Do
• Care Planning: Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, actively collaborating with experienced RNs and the healthcare team.
• Medication & Treatment: Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, meticulously ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Patient Monitoring & Documentation: Perform thorough patient assessments, accurately documenting vital signs, patient responses, and changes in condition in the EMR.
• Education & Support: Provide clear patient and family education on care instructions and treatment plans, and support patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere rigorously to infection control protocols, patient safety guidelines, and all hospital policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career Registered Nurse with a strong knowledge of the nursing process and fundamental clinical nursing practices.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Skills: Ability to perform thorough patient assessments, proficient in administering medications safely, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification preferred, especially for specific acute care, pediatric, or obstetrics/neonatal units.
