What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Guidance: Provide financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for the York Vehicle Operations Plant.
• Budget Coordination: Coordinate and assist in the development and preparation of revenue, cost of sales, expense, capital, and headcount budgets and forecasts.
• Monthly Financial Support: Provide comprehensive monthly financial support including recording journal entries/accruals, assuring expense accuracy, distributing performance reports, and analyzing spending variances.
• Business Analysis: Conduct business analysis with an emphasis on understanding supported business operations and assisting directors and managers with departmental expense management.
• Project Participation: Participate in various special projects as required to support plant financial objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of related experience, demonstrating competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for analysis and financial modeling.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management, self-motivation, strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader analytical perspective, and excellent organizational skills to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Bonus: A CPA or equivalent is desired, and SAP experience is a plus.
