What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Bars: Be responsible for processing a minimum of 4 dental bars daily.
• Support Lab Operations: Collaborate on additional lab duties, maintain schedule flexibility, and uphold NUVIA’s company values.
• Perform Quality Control: Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) on all received records, including models, bars, waxes, and Zirconias.
• Verify Designs: Carefully review all changes made by the design department, ensuring they align with the doctor’s requests in the RX.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an early career position, welcoming individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the dental lab environment. No specific educational degree is explicitly stated as a prerequisite for this entry-level opportunity.
• Experience: No prior experience as a Dental Lab Technician is required, as this role includes a comprehensive 4-month program of hands-on, paid training. This structured training ensures you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as a Bars Technician.
• Skills: Candidates must be fluent in Spanish to effectively communicate and perform job duties. A willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including consistent overnight shifts (typically starting between 10 PM and 12 AM, Monday through Friday, for 8.5 hours), or day shifts if required, is essential. Additionally, maintaining a professional presentation aligned with NUVIA’s dress code is expected.
• Bonus: A key requirement for this role is the willingness to travel to one of NUVIA’s dedicated training centers for the initial on-site training period. Training locations include Utah, Texas, Florida, or the Westbury, NY lab, with all travel expenses, including flights, living accommodations, and transportation, fully covered by NUVIA for the duration of your training.
