What You’ll Actually Do
• Immerse yourself in the day-to-day activities of your assigned department, contributing to its ongoing operations.
• Participate in strategic meetings, offering valuable insights and perspectives to departmental discussions.
• Help solve key business issues by applying your skills and offering innovative ideas for global success.
• Engage in professional development activities, including workshops, industry insights sessions, and a capstone project.
• Offer ideas and perspectives to further Warner Music Group’s global success across various business units.
The Must-Haves
• Background: At least 18 years of age by May 18, 2026; no specific degree required, suitable for individuals seeking entry into the music industry or academic credit for an internship.
• Experience: Located within the United States for the duration of the program, with access to housing and transportation within the designated city.
• Skills: A self-starter attitude, genuine curiosity for the music business, and ability to commit to 20-29 hours of work per week.
• Bonus: Professional goals that align with WMG’s core values, knowledge of and passion for WMG’s business units, excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective problem solving and organizational skills, strong passion for the music industry, and leadership experience on or off campus. Business & Legal Affairs roles require active pursuit of a law degree, and Creative placements require a portfolio submission.
