Dialysis Registered Nurse – New Graduate | DCI

The TL;DR

• Mission: Provides specialized nursing care in an in-center hemodialysis unit to ensure patients receive the safest care with the highest quality outcomes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Delivery: Perform hemodialysis treatments, closely monitor patients for emergent changes in condition, and accurately administer all prescribed pre, intra, and post-dialysis medications.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure the dialysis machine, its alarms, and all products used during treatment are prepped and meet DCI’s stringent quality standards before initiation.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to CDC/CMS regulations and reinforce strong infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Communication & Liaison: Effectively communicate any patient issues to the physician and family, and interact professionally with local hospitals to facilitate continuity of care.
• Team Development & Collaboration: Participate actively in patient care conferences, medical rounds, and assist in teaching and training new staff members as directed by the Nurse Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Degree from an accredited Nursing Program; early career candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience: No previous experience is required as comprehensive hands-on training and theory orientation are provided to equip nurses for success.
• Skills: Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state, along with excellent communication skills and a demonstrated high level of clinical excellence.
• Bonus: Previous dialysis experience is preferred, but not required.
