Zymewire is Lumerate’s flagship product. It is an advanced intelligence tool specifically designed for sales professionals in the biotech and pharma service provider sectors. Zymewire helps its users understand the latest happenings and trends within their specific niches. Currently, over 380 pharmaceutical and biotechnology service providers across more than 50 countries, ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations, rely on Zymewire for their sales research needs.

Job Description: Data Associate Intern – Zymewire Data Team

Role Title: Data Associate Intern

Team: Zymewire Data Team

Duration: This is an 8-month internship position.

Core Responsibilities:
Content Review and Analysis: The primary duty involves reviewing and analyzing news content sourced from pharma/biotech company websites.
Data Ingestion: Bringing the identified and analyzed content into the Zymewire system.
Actionable Data Generation: Ensuring the integrated data is made actionable for Zymewire users through various data and machine learning processes.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with other members of the Zymewire data team on a variety of tasks and projects daily.
Data Timeliness: Contributing to ensuring that Zymewire users consistently receive the most up-to-date industry activity information for their sales and marketing efforts.

Eligibility Requirements (Student Work Placement Program – SWPP):
This position is funded with assistance from the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP), and candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be registered full-time or part-time in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution.
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, including specific provincial legislation and regulations for Ontario.

• Is highly organized and structured in their approach.

• Is very comfortable and proficient in using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Considers themselves tech-savvy and is enthusiastic about working for a software company.
• Is detail-oriented and enjoys solving puzzles.

Compensation and Logistics:
Salary: $3200 per month.
Working Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
• Sunday: 3.5 hours
• Flexibility regarding working hours can be discussed.
Location: The role is remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in Ontario.
Start Date: September 2nd, 2025.
