Commercial Leadership Trainee | Kronospan

The Tone:
Kronospan is the world’s leading producer of wood panel products, including MDF, OSB, Particleboard, and Laminate Flooring. The Commercial Leadership Trainee role is a full-time, intensive program designed to develop individuals into future leaders by equipping them with critical management and technical skills. Through rotational assignments and impactful projects, this role provides a structured path to contribute to the organization’s continuous improvement in processes, quality, and service, culminating in preparedness for a significant leadership position.

• Mission: This person will acquire essential management and technical skills while contributing to organizational improvements to prepare for a leadership position.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Skill Acquisition: Acquire management skills including leadership, teambuilding, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Technical Development: Develop technical skills in areas such as customer service, negotiation, outside sales, marketing, purchasing, and product development.
• Rotational Training: Participate in an intensive program of approximately 12 months duration, including rotational assignments across various site segments.
• Project Contribution: Contribute to the organization through projects aimed at improving processes, enhancing quality, or refining service.
• Leadership Preparation: Prepare for a leadership role within the organization upon successful completion of the program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, marketing, finance, accounting, supply chain management, or a closely related field of study.
• Experience: Candidates must possess a strong desire to learn, develop leadership capabilities, and demonstrate a clear ambition to progress within the organization. The role requires commitment to an intensive program and the ability to work flexible hours based on business needs.
• Skills: Essential skills include excellent verbal/written communication and presentation abilities, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and robust analytical capabilities.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrated excellent work ethic, strong time management, and organizational skills, coupled with the capability to prioritize work activities, assignments, and demands while exercising good judgment in a results-oriented environment.
