The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Crossroads Chevrolet, a division of Mills Automotive Group, located in Beckley, WV. Mills Automotive Group operates a busy automotive service center that prides itself on efficient production and high-quality vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for Chevrolet and other makes. This role is essential for upholding the shop’s commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence by expertly diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues, directly impacting the team’s overall productivity and success.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: 4 Day Work Week
• Location: In-person, Beckley, WV
• Mission: To efficiently perform high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the service team’s production goals.
• Tech Stack: Factory tools and systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Diagnostics: Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Chevrolet vehicles and various other makes.
• Issue Identification: Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues utilizing specialized factory tools and systems.
• Work Order Completion: Efficiently complete work orders while consistently adhering to high-quality standards.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and precisely with service advisors regarding repair needs and projected timelines.
• Certification Maintenance: Stay current with all required GM certifications and actively participate in ongoing training.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven experience as a professional automotive technician in a service environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues; experience working effectively in a high-volume shop setting.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities; effective communication skills for collaborating with service advisors; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; a team-oriented mindset with accountability for work quality.
• Bonus: ASE Certification and/or GM Certification; commitment to staying current on GM certifications and training.
