Benefit Program Technician
The Family Support Division is actively seeking applications for a dedicated Benefit Program Technician. This vital position will be based at the Franklin County/Washington Resource Center, located at 1108 Washington Square, Washington, MO.
About the Role
As a Benefit Program Technician, you will play a crucial role in empowering Missouri citizens by facilitating their access to essential services. Your work will directly contribute to helping individuals and families receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance, enabling them to lead safe, healthy, and productive lives.
Key Responsibilities
On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:
- Determining initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for various assistance programs.
- Conducting interviews with clients both in person and by telephone to gather necessary information.
- Preparing detailed summaries and performing other related tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
To succeed in this impactful role, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- A High School diploma or equivalent AND at least four years of customer service experience.
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
