The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time to Full-time
• Location: In-person – various office locations
• Pay: $25–$38 hourly
• Mission: Support the auditing team by assisting with financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks to provide hands-on public accounting experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Records: Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Control Systems: Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with auditing standards through inquiry, observation, and review.
• Workpaper Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed workpapers that support audit procedures and findings.
• Testing & Review: Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures on financial data.
• Project Support: Assist with client engagements and other assigned projects, gaining exposure to various industries and business environments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must be a Junior or Senior Accounting Major or Business-related major, or an MBA Candidate in an Accounting track program.
• Experience: No prior professional audit experience is required; candidates are expected to have a foundational understanding of accounting principles from their current academic studies.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and computer skills are required. Ability to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week and commute to an office location.
• Bonus: A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher is beneficial.
