The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Mission: Provide quality assurance services to entrepreneurial clients across various industries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and identifying areas of risk.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare engagement workpapers under the supervision of Staff and Seniors.
• Complete detailed workpaper documentation in accordance with firm and industry standards.
• Identify and communicate areas of risk within engagements, applying basic accounting principles.
• Resolve review notes comprehensively and within established timelines.
• Adhere to all information security policies to protect sensitive data and company confidentiality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: In process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field. This is an Entry-Level role focused on mastering basic accounting concepts.
• Experience: No specific years required. Experience includes demonstrating inquisitiveness, a strong desire to learn basic accounting concepts, and the ability to cultivate professional relationships.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management in a dynamic environment, ability to adapt to a wide variety of projects, proactive in seeking opportunities for improvement, and ability to think critically and independently resolve challenges.
• Bonus: Able to travel to client locations both locally and occasionally out of state as needed.
