This role supports the Internal Audit team in various projects, helping to ensure organizational activities align with management instructions, applicable policies, and internal control principles. The internship offers an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and gain practical experience within the Internal Audit profession.

• Mission: To support the Internal Audit team in performing financial and operational audits that ensure organizational activities are executed in accordance with management instructions, policies, and sound internal controls.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support industry research and planning activities to provide comprehensive assistance.
• Execute tasks related to all phases of the internal audit process.
• Document business operations effectively using Microsoft Visio flowcharts or Word narratives.
• Assist with the development, monitoring, and tracking of material request lists and other audit support.
• Document planning and walkthrough meeting minutes, summarizing key attendees, items discussed, and next actions.
• Contribute to the substantive testing of management’s controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in accounting, finance, business administration, healthcare management, or a related business or healthcare degree. This is an Entry-Level opportunity.
• Experience: Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship, from May 17th, 2027 – August 6th, 2027.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to apply problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Comfortable in a quickly adapting environment and a fast learner, familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), ability to develop public speaking and presentation skills, interest in the healthcare industry, and candidates graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 with a 3.2 GPA or higher are preferred.
