Manufacturing Development Program – Jacksonville | Niagara Bottling

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 15-month Manufacturing Development Program at Niagara Bottling, located in Jacksonville. Niagara is a leading beverage manufacturer dedicated to providing customers with high-quality, affordable bottled water. This program is designed to cultivate future leaders who will gain first-hand experience across various plant functions, contributing to operational efficiency and overall company mission. Graduates of this program are expected to be open to relocating to broaden their career opportunities within the company.

The TL;DR
• Role: Manufacturing Development Program Participant
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Jacksonville, FL

• Team: Rotational program across plant departments including Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, or Quality Assurance.
• Mission: Develop into a leader of people or processes through hands-on experience, impactful project work, and dedicated professional development within a manufacturing environment.
• Tech Stack: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotation: Spend 9 months rotating through core plant departments such as Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with additional rotations based on availability and interest.
• Projects: Work on cost or time-saving projects that are impactful to the plant’s performance and Niagara’s overall goals.
• Leadership: Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months, leading a shift in a manufacturing environment to fully understand the scope and importance of the role.
• Development: Participate in formalized professional skills training covering Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership development, with ongoing support from leadership and dedicated advisors.
• Presentation: Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership on multiple occasions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or any field.
• Experience: 0 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment or managing people/projects.
• Skills: Leadership, Problem-solving, Self-awareness, Adaptability, Teamwork, Communication, Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Bonus: 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or managing people/projects; 1 year of internship experience.
