Associate, New Verticals – Catalog Strategy & Operations | DoorDash

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at DoorDash, located in the US with weekly office days in major hubs and quarterly team gatherings. DoorDash is a technology and logistics company focused on expanding beyond restaurants to deliver anything customers want, empowering local economies. This role is crucial for enhancing the speed, quality, and accuracy of merchant onboarding processes for New Verticals, ensuring a smooth experience for Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants alike.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Embrace AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve workflows, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Build: Help construct strategic initiatives that impact all three sides of the marketplace, spanning from high-level strategy to detailed operational plans.
• Collaborate: Advocate internally for product or operations solutions to enhance the user experience, unlock growth, and reduce costs.
• Lead: Help guide cross-functional work streams to develop an operating playbook for New Verticals wide initiatives, such as the Dasher Shop & Deliver platform and Shopper program.
• Strategize: Help develop the strategy for connecting the local community directly to consumers, ensuring perfect quality, speed, and accuracy, and create aligned quarterly and annual business plans.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed Bachelor’s Degree; an early career professional in operations, strategy, or technology.
• Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in high-performing cultures like tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or startups.
• Skills: Problem-solving from first principles, an operational mindset to delve into details while thinking long-term, and strong analytical skills including using AI tools, synthesizing information, and communicating recommendations through data visualizations.
• Bonus: Prior DoorDash experience.
