Perfetti Van Melle is a global confectionary company known for brands like Airheads and Mentos. They are seeking an enthusiastic college student for an internship within their US Human Resources team, located at their Erlanger, KY facility (near the Cincinnati/NKY airport). This internship is slated to start in Fall 2025.

Job Description:

This HR Internship is designed to provide hands-on work experience and skill building for college students interested in pursuing a career in HR. As an HR Intern, you will learn key processes, roles, and functions within Human Resources, working alongside experienced HR professionals. You will be responsible for supporting various work activities, including:

HR Projects: Managing current and upcoming projects, timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Managing and developing SOPs, ensuring process plans are effectively updated.
Onboarding: Assisting with onboarding activities of new hires.
Employee Engagement: Supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Data Management: HR data entry, records management, and filing.
Compliance: Understanding company policies and certain federal, state, and local regulations.
Other Tasks: Completing other projects and duties based on business needs.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), including MS Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with guidance.
• Ability to work effectively with employees across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated change agility and situational adaptability.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• 1 or more years of general work experience preferred.
