Sales Leadership Development Program | Clemens Food Group

The Tone:
This is a one-year rotational leadership development program at Clemens Food Group, located onsite in Hatfield, PA, scheduled to begin in June 2027. Clemens Food Group is dedicated to connecting the farm to the family table through robust sales and marketing efforts. The company focuses on driving growth, strengthening customer partnerships across retail, foodservice, and distribution, and sharing the story behind its products and purpose. This program is designed to prepare early-career professionals for future full-time opportunities within the organization, equipping them with essential leadership, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Operations Management: Support critical business functions including forecasting, reporting, customer requests, and cross-functional problem-solving to ensure smooth sales activities.
• Sales: Engage directly with customers through visits, product cuttings, food shows, and sales coaching to build strong relationships and address customer needs.
• Marketing: Develop and assist with essential marketing materials, product training, sales tools, and branded portfolio projects to support brand strategy and initiatives.
• Category Management and Business Insights: Analyze sales and market data to support category reviews, develop customer presentations, and contribute to growth initiatives.
• Project Management: Coordinate product launches, manage project timelines, provide stakeholder updates, and facilitate cross-functional communication throughout the commercialization process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership through academics, internships, employment, projects, athletics, or campus involvement. Proven ability to work effectively in teams and communicate clearly. Experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving, applicable to business contexts. Availability to begin the program in June 2027.
• Skills: Communication (verbal and written), Analytical thinking, Problem-solving, Project management, Teamwork.
• Bonus: Openness to hands-on learning, cross-functional projects, and mentorship. Comfort with working on-site, including potential visits to pork production facilities with cold temperatures and unique sensory experiences. An interest in understanding how data, customer relationships, and cross-functional collaboration drive business growth.
