What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Rotations: Step into an 18-month rotational program designed to provide comprehensive exposure across critical business functions, including Quality assurance, Supply Chain management, Engineering design, and customer Services. This immersive experience will provide a holistic understanding of the Grid Integration business.
• Strategic Project Leadership: Take the lead on action learning projects, focusing on initiatives that directly drive real business outcomes and contribute to the strategic objectives of Hitachi Energy. These projects offer hands-on experience in problem-solving and implementation.
• Market and Customer Engagement: Actively collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop a deep understanding of evolving customer needs and market trends. Your involvement will extend to supporting the development of proposals and contributing to strategic planning processes.
• Operational Excellence Initiatives: Immerse yourself in the fundamental principles and daily operations of inventory and operations management. You will also contribute to and support key sustainability and operational excellence initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Leadership Development: Proactively build and refine essential leadership skills through dedicated experiences. This program is designed to amplify your personal impact across diverse teams and foster a culture that values innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level opportunity for senior undergraduate students. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and are required to anticipate their graduation by May 2026.
• Experience: No prior professional full-time experience is required, as this program is specifically designed to be an early career launchpad for recent graduates. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical capabilities for complex problem-solving, excellent communication skills for effective collaboration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, alongside foundational project planning abilities.
• Bonus: A self-driven and proactive attitude is highly valued, coupled with a genuine passion for leadership development and a commitment to operational excellence. Additionally, candidates must already hold work authorization permitting employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
