Sales Engineering and Leadership Program | Regal Rexnord

The Tone:
This is a fully onsite leadership development program at Regal Rexnord, located at the company’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin HQ. Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates, dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that power, transmit, and control motion. The company’s offerings include electric motors, air moving subsystems, highly engineered power transmission components, and automation for various end markets such as factory automation, food & beverage, aerospace, and medical. This Sales, Engineering, And Leadership (SEAL) program is a progressive and challenging initiative designed to build the foundational business and technical skills necessary for a successful career in Sales, developing participants into future leaders within the organization.

The TL;DR
• Role: Sales Engineering and Leadership Program (SEAL)
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Milwaukee, WI (first 6 months), with relocation within the USA upon completion
• Mission: To develop a business-oriented, cross-functional understanding of Regal Rexnord and learn fundamentals within its Sales, Engineering, and Marketing departments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Understanding: Gain a broad understanding of Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to contribute to business success.
• Learn Improvement Culture: Understand a culture of continuous improvement and how it drives customer value.
• Analyze Situations: Work to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to details and breaking them into smaller pieces.
• Maintain Technical Knowledge: Proactively develop and maintain broad knowledge of technical disciplines within functional areas and apply knowledge of industry trends.
• Evaluate Solutions: Assess alternative solutions and decisions in adherence to Regal Rexnord standards while evaluating their impact on customers and the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a B.S. Degree in Industrial Distribution, Business, or Engineering.
• Experience: No prior industry experience is required. Must be open to working in Inside Sales or Outside Sales and relocating within the USA after the initial 6-month program. The role requires approximately 25-30% overnight travel. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
• Skills: Possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities. Demonstrate proficiency in planning and organizing time, along with effective decision-making through logic and reasoning. Competence in computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required, alongside the ability to adjust to varying priorities and project lists.
