The Tone:
This is a full-time role at NielsenIQ, located in In-person Chennai, India (Tamil Nadu). This position is crucial for driving large-scale Agile transformation across the organization. You will enable teams and leaders to enhance delivery, predictability, and continuous improvement through modern Agile and AI-supported practices. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of product and engineering delivery.

• Mission: Own the end-to-end Agile transformation for new programs, strengthen execution, and embed continuous improvement, especially through AI-enabled practices.
• Tech Stack: Jira Cloud, Confluence, Miro, GitHub Copilot (or similar AI assistants), Atlassian ecosystem

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Transformation: Lead end-to-end Agile transformation for new ARTs / programs, guiding them from initial team setup through delivery stabilization and continuous improvement.
• Design Operating Models: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science leadership to strategically design scalable team structures and effective operating models.
• Coach and Facilitate: Coach Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to strengthen execution, flow, and outcome-driven planning, while also facilitating PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and leadership alignment sessions.
• Establish Practices & Metrics: Establish effective backlog practices, governance models, and delivery rhythms, and define and embed meaningful delivery metrics (flow, predictability, say/do) to guide continuous improvement.
• Drive AI Adoption: Actively identify and implement AI-enabled improvements in Agile ways of working, including automation of repetitive activities and smarter decision support, coaching teams and leaders on adopting AI-supported delivery practices and an experimentation culture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with over 15 years of experience in IT, including substantial experience in software development, and extensive experience leading large-scale Agile / SAFe transformations in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate high-impact workshops, combined with hands-on experience using Jira Cloud, Confluence, and Miro. Practical understanding of AI application in software delivery, including effective prompting techniques and identifying automation opportunities in Agile processes.
• Skills: Strong expertise in SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, specifically including ART setup and program coaching. Strong understanding of flow-based metrics and data-driven delivery improvement. Awareness of AI capabilities in modern delivery platforms (e.g., Atlassian ecosystem) and experience with tools like GitHub Copilot or similar AI assistants.
