The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte, located Hybrid – USA. Deloitte’s Sales & Service practice partners with the world’s leading life sciences companies to rethink how their commercial, medical, and field organizations operate, bringing that vision to life on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. This role is for consultants who bring significant functional understanding. Candidates should have practical experience running, designing, or advising on key life sciences processes, translating that operational knowledge into a clear future state vision. From there, they will work closely with technical teams, including those focused on agentic AI, to build and implement these solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assess & Vision: Lead current state assessments and future state visioning for core Life Sciences commercial and medical processes such as Key Account Management, Medical Interactions, and Sample Management.
• Functional Expertise: Act as the functional voice, challenging legacy process assumptions and defining what improvements and standardization look like for clients.
• Solution Translation: Partner with solution architects and platform teams to translate future state process designs into Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud capabilities, ensuring business intent is upheld.
• AI Integration: Identify and scope opportunities for agentic AI through Agentforce to augment or reimagine client processes, including defining human-in-the-loop models.
• Requirement Definition: Facilitate design workshops, process walkthroughs, and governance conversations with client business owners to convert domain expertise into build-ready requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with functional depth in at least one Life Sciences business process domain (e.g., Events, Field Excellence, or Medical Affairs).
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in consulting or relevant Life Sciences industry roles (e.g., commercial operations, medical affairs); 3+ years of hands-on ownership of a core Life Sciences business process (e.g., Key Account Management, Speaker/Event Management) as a practitioner or redesign consultant.
• Skills: Deep functional fluency in Life Sciences business processes; ability to translate ambiguous business intent into structured, build-ready details; strong facilitation and executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience translating business process requirements into technology solutions; Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud experience or equivalent CRM; direct experience defining or scoping agentic AI use cases; 2+ years configuring or advising on Life Sciences capabilities across various personas; experience with adjacent Salesforce products (Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft); experience delivering in a SAFe Agile environment.
