The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development role at Amazon, located in various operations facilities across the United States. Amazon is a large global organization that solves complex operational challenges impacting millions of customers worldwide. This position is designed for recent Master’s graduates from the MIT-LGO program to develop strategic leadership capabilities, build expertise, and make an immediate impact within the company’s operations environment. Participants will work to optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and implement scalable solutions.

• Pay: $142800 yearly
• Team: Operations team, reporting through the Pathways Leadership Development Program
• Mission: Solve complex operational challenges that impact millions of customers worldwide and drive continuous improvement across Amazon’s global operations network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop your team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, high performance, and customer obsession.
• Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to identify and solve complex business and operational challenges, thinking both strategically and tactically.
• Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Decision Making: Make real-time decisions, balancing competing priorities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve end-to-end processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in the MIT-LGO program with a degree conferral date between December 2026 and June 2027, preparing for an Operations Manager role.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional work (non-internship) experience, including leading cross-functional projects and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Skills: Experience using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: A track record of ownership and delivering results, or 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
