The Tone:
This is an 18-month rotational early career program with Hitachi Energy, located in the United States and offering a hybrid work-from-home policy. Hitachi Energy builds the grid of the future and also develops the next generation of leadership for its Grid Integration business. This program is designed as a launchpad for future leaders, fast-tracking their growth through immersive experiences and hands-on projects tailored to an engineering background. The role matters because it will help power the world with sustainable energy solutions while building essential leadership capabilities and contributing to global impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Rotate across key business functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Services to gain a holistic understanding of operations.
• Lead: Lead action learning projects focused on delivering tangible business outcomes and driving improvements within the organization.
• Collaborate: Partner with sales and marketing teams to thoroughly understand customer needs and market dynamics.
• Support: Support the development of proposals and contribute to strategic planning efforts for the Grid Integration business.
• Learn: Gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in inventory and operational management processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. This is an Entry-Level role for senior undergraduates.
• Experience: Anticipated graduation by May 2026. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project planning tools.
• Bonus: Self-driven with a clear passion for leadership development and operational excellence.
