Production Management Development Associate | Nestlé Purina North America

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career role at Nestlé Purina North America, with initial rotations in Clinton, IA; Crete, NE; or Bloomfield, MO, and subsequent required relocation to any of our 24 U.S. manufacturing sites. • Mission: Develop future leaders to manage production operations and drive efficiency in pet food manufacturing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Explore Operations: Understand how quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance collaborate with the production team.
• Lead Production: Gain experience in leading people and operations throughout the entire path to high-quality pet food production.
• Execute Schedules: Lead and oversee the execution of production schedules.
• Manage Resources: Ensure the flow of materials, parts, and resources necessary for plant-wide production.
• Improve Efficiency: Plan methods to improve efficiency in production and execute production improvement tasks.
• Uphold Standards: Maintain compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027.
• Experience: Must be open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the program, with initial rotation starting at Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Clinton, Iowa.
• Skills: Operations Management, Production Scheduling, Efficiency Planning, Quality Standards Compliance, Safety Protocol Adherence.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience preferred. Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred.
