Emerging Professional Program Associate | Cooper Electric

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month early career rotational program at Cooper Electric, primarily located within a Central NJ footprint, with opportunities for company-paid travel to different locations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse/Logistics Operations: Gain hands-on experience and develop a comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes and logistics management within the supply chain.
• Inside Sales/Counter Service: Acquire practical skills in inside sales and direct counter service, learning to effectively assist and serve customers with their electrical product needs.
• Projects & Quotations Management: Learn the detailed processes involved in managing electrical projects, from initial inquiry to preparing accurate product quotations.
• Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce Strategy: Explore and contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, digital solutions, and e-commerce platforms to enhance customer reach.
• Outside Sales/Specialty Track Development: Immerse yourself in outside sales activities and a specialized track, focusing on client engagement, market development, and relationship building.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional holding a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or another directly related field is required.
• Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 from their undergraduate studies. This program is specifically tailored for emerging professionals seeking foundational business acumen and practical application.
• Skills: Demonstrate an enthusiastic and self-starter attitude, coupled with excellent communication, time management, and leadership capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating diverse business challenges, as is being a flexible and adaptable team player.
• Bonus: A clear desire to establish and grow a long-term career within the NJ, NY, or PA geography following the program’s conclusion.
