Customer Success Account Management Intern | Microsoft

The Tone:
This is a full-time paid internship at Microsoft, located in Zaventem, Belgium, for a duration of six months starting in January 2027. This role matters as it directly supports customer success initiatives, helping customers maximize the value of their Microsoft investments and contributing to real-world projects.

• Team: Part of the Customer Success and Account Management team, collaborating with account team leaders.

• Tech Stack: Microsoft technologies and services, including examples like Azure and Microsoft 365.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Relationship Building: Learn and support foundational relationships with key customer stakeholders and technical professionals to enable quality solution delivery and health.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop skills to identify, navigate, and communicate with key customer technical stakeholders, guiding conversations to achieve their business objectives.
• Technical & Business Impact: Cultivate technical aptitude and industry awareness to translate customer interactions into tangible business impact and value.
• Strategic Alignment: Begin to align customer objectives with the current Microsoft portfolio of work, understanding the organizational and customer success strategy.
• Program Coordination: Support the delivery of program planning and customer-facing program reviews, including the prioritization of engagements to address agreed-upon customer outcomes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. This is an entry-level internship position.
• Experience: Legal authorization to work in Belgium at the time of application and for the duration of the internship is required. This includes being a holder of Belgian, EU/EEA, or Swiss citizenship, or already possessing a valid visa and/or work permit permitting work in Belgium.
• Skills: Fluency in English is required, along with fluency in either French or Dutch. The role also requires the ability to learn relationship management, communication with diverse stakeholders, and an understanding of technical and business concepts.
• Bonus: An interest in technology and customer satisfaction, and possession of Microsoft or competitor equivalent certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365).
