Sr. Director, Precision Medicine Business Operations & Strategic Delivery | Labcorp

The TL;DR

• Team: Leads a high-performing global team and serves as the key integration point across Precision Medicine functions and enabling functions.
• Mission: Define and execute strategic priorities to drive business growth, operational excellence, and organizational performance within Precision Medicine.
• Tech Stack: Automation, AI-enabled solutions, digital enablement, data-driven decision making

What You’ll Actually Do
• Executive Leadership: Provide global leadership and serve as the key integration point for Precision Medicine Business Operations & Strategic Delivery.
• Strategic Portfolio Management: Own the development, prioritization, and execution of the Precision Medicine strategic initiative portfolio.
• Performance Management: Establish enterprise-wide performance management frameworks, metrics, and reporting capabilities to monitor business health.
• Client & Industry Representation: Support executive client engagements and represent Precision Medicine in strategic discussions and industry forums.
• Organizational Transformation: Lead organizational transformation initiatives, change management strategies, and scalable operating models for growth and efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Business, with a career level of Senior Director.
• Experience: 14 or more years of leadership experience in central laboratory, diagnostics, or precision medicine, OR 10 or more years in healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or laboratory operations, including 5 or more years leading managers, cross-functional teams, and enterprise initiatives within a matrixed organization. Experience in companion diagnostics (CDx), precision medicine, biomarker programs, clinical trials, or laboratory services is required.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, executive communication, stakeholder management, strategic planning, portfolio management, operational performance management, financial planning, and resource optimization.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree in Life or Physical Sciences or Business. Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across scientific, operational, commercial, regulatory, technology, and business functions, and proven ability to operate effectively within highly matrixed global organizations.
