Associate Sourcing Executive | Vizient

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract Drafting & Redlining: Assist with comprehensive contract drafting, detailed redlining, and thorough document preparation under the direct guidance of senior team members and Legal.
• Negotiation & Sourcing Support: Support the preparation for negotiations by organizing essential materials, summarizing key information, and accurately capturing discussion points, while also gathering data and basic market insights for sourcing strategy development.
• RFP & Supplier Coordination: Manage various stages of the sourcing lifecycle, including creating and distributing RFPs, collecting supplier responses, and coordinating scheduling for supplier meetings, clinical evaluations, and internal discussions.
• Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain all sourcing documentation, workflows, and templates utilizing established tools and systems, and support contract maintenance activities by preparing updates, tracking changes, and validating information.
• Administrative & Relationship Building: Provide general administrative and project support across all sourcing activities, and build foundational communication and relationship-management skills through professional interactions with suppliers and internal partners.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A relevant degree is preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience is required. A demonstrated interest in contract review, sourcing, negotiation, or supply chain functions is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and identify basic trends. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance within a matrixed environment; willingness to travel as required by the role.
