What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Excellence: Develop, evaluate, and influence effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service within daily branch activities.
• Cultural Leadership: Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with the company’s vision, values, and mission.
• Financial Stewardship: Assist the Branch Manager in the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and yearly budgets, and learn to utilize internal reporting tools to optimize branch financial performance.
• Compliance & Management: Support the successful management of branch operations and personnel, while assisting the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Safety & Growth Initiatives: Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and personal compliance, actively driving business development and meeting corporate targets through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience is required for this early career development role.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions, coupled with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. Requires the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook, and the effective use of computer applications; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and mathematical computation abilities.
• Bonus: Specific knowledge of construction supplies, particularly within the concrete construction industry, or a strong technical aptitude for construction equipment and the rental industry, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to travel up to 30% and a valid driver’s license are also preferred.
